The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, nFADP effective 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union for users residing in the EU.

3.2 When registering as a Professional

  • Phone number

  • Canton or region of intervention

3.3 When making contact

  • Email address
  • Message subject
  • Message content

3.4 Technical Data

  • IP address
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Pages visited and visit duration
  • Session data (functional cookies)

4. Purposes of Processing

The collected data is used to:

  • Process and forward quote requests to relevant Professionals
  • Manage Professional registrations
  • Send confirmations and notifications by email (request receipt, quote follow-up)
  • Calculate and pay cashback and referral commissions
  • Respond to contact and support requests
  • Improve the functioning and user experience of the Platform
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

5. Sub-processors and Data Transfers

Data may be processed by the following sub-processors, strictly within the scope of the purposes described above:

  • Supabase (database hosting) - EU servers
  • Resend (sending transactional emails)
  • Vercel (Platform hosting)

Each sub-processor is contractually bound to respect data confidentiality and security. No data is sold, rented, or shared for commercial purposes with third parties not mentioned above.

6. Retention Period

  • Quote requests: retained for 2 years after the last activity, then anonymised or deleted.
  • Professional accounts: retained for the duration of the business relationship, then 5 years after account closure (accounting obligations).
  • Contact messages: retained for 1 year.
  • Technical data: retained for a maximum of 12 months.

7. Rights of Data Subjects

In accordance with the FADP and the GDPR (where applicable), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Right to restriction: restrict the processing of your data in certain cases
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes

8. Cookies

The Platform only uses cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website (session cookies, user preferences). No advertising or analytical tracking cookies are used.

9. Data Security

ChuTTT implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or destruction. These measures include in particular:

  • Encryption of communications (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Restricted data access based on the principle of least privilege
  • Hosting on secure and certified infrastructures
  • Hashed passwords not stored in plain text

10. Minors

The Platform is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. ChuTTT does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Modifications

This privacy policy may be modified at any time. Modifications will be published on this page with the update date. In case of substantial modification, users will be informed by email.
